EdCamp Honolulu 2015

The 3rd annual EdCamp Honolulu was another great success with over 100 educators from around the state of Hawaii coming together to learn from each other, almost a third of which were attending for the first time! If you're not familiar with an EdCamp, it is considered and unconference which is a free, participant driven, professional development event. Attendees decide the topics at the beginning of the day and sessions are discussion based, not presenter led. But an EdCamp would not be successful without our amazing sponsors! Check them out at http://www.edcamphi.org/sponsor-information. This year we had topics such as coding, Maker Ed, STEAM, Flipped Classroom, and more! We even collaborated with EdCamp North Orange County for a Google Hangout session on Robotics, which we believe was the first session of its kind! It's such an amazing experience to witness dedicated, hard working, educators coming together on a Saturday to grow and learn from each other. This is what true professional development is all about! See you next year for EdCamp Honolulu 2016!
